Unknown Studio to lead Visionary Plan for Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's Public Gardens & Landscapes
We are excited to announce that Unknown Studio -- together with an amazing team -- have been selected to lead the Visionary Plan for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's Public Gardens & Landscapes. We are joined by ETM Associates, Canopy Strategic Partners, Urban Heritage Project, and AtkinsRéalis.
This project is radical in its proposition that public gardens should be the most prominent and accessible of public landscapes. By restoring horticultural excellence to the commons, this project has the potential to fully realize an equitable, performative, and beautiful gardens as a public space typology. A place of biodiversity, a place of beauty, a place of wellness, and a place with connectivity for all.
